What Time Is It?

Everyone know what time is but to define and understand it is hard. Physicist defines time as an unchanging system, time as the progression of events from the past to the present into the future. It only moves in one direction and cannot move backward. Time is often referred to the fourth dimension, it isn’t something we can see, touch or feel, only measure it. Clocks are based on seconds, minutes and hours.

Time zones is a region with a specific time, These time zones can vary from 15 minutes to hours of time difference. There are 24 time zones dividing the globe into different times and each of these time zones has their own names. Greenwich Mean Time, now called UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). UTC is the time standard, the other parts of the world is according to their longitude are offset. Mot time zones are offset (plus, minus) by full hours or 45 minutes. Some areas observe Daylight Saving Time (DST), mostly in Europe, North America and some areas in the Middle East while most areas in Asia and Africa do not.

Time is very important in religion, science and philosophy. In many fields, time is often incorporated in some way it is very useful in keeping track of events, showing up on time for work and school, in dance, music, planning a trip, plane, train and bus rides. Most of us today uses our phones or a watch to check the time, on most phones we can even check and keep track of the time in other countries.
So what time is it? Does it really matter so much to you? Maybe you should relax more and not know what time is it all the time?
